When Fern got home from the barn she told her parents about the animals she said that Charlotte the spider made a speech about the gosling eggs and she said that Templeton the rat got a gosling from the goose because only seven eggs hatched.
No, I do not think her mom believed her because after Fern finished talking to them and headed to the barn and Mrs. arable said I don't think that the animals were really talking and she said should we tell Dr. Dorian and Mr. Arable said if she says that the animals were talking again then we will talk to Dr. Dorian.
